LOVING REALITY AS IT IS
For those seeking clarity when facing uncertainty
This live group conversational program will guide you through a process to support you as you review more holistically the uncertain situation(s) you are facing, to gain insights on blindspots you may have.
As humans we tend to seek certainty. We want to know in advance. We want to know that we will be ok. This program is to support you in realising that although as a human you think you know, reality is as it is. As human it is for you and for all of us to learn how to trust and be ok with not knowing.
Loving reality as it is will support you in resolving:
The feelings of overwhelm you may be experiencing when facing uncertainty
The fact that you don’t want to talk with anyone about the situation for the moment because you want to do something to settle yourself first
The challenge of losing sight of the big picture because you are so lost in the detail of what is happening
The confusion you have on why you are reacting like this, because the situation (it seems) has triggered you.
The uncertainty you have because you don’t know how to deal with someone and/or situation(s)
Through our work together, you'll be able to:
Be clearer on possible next steps for you as you face uncertainty
Understand how you make situations personal
Become more objective to situations happening in life
Learn how to manage the emotions that may arise
Go deeper into finding out how you truly feel about what is happening since you tend to overthink situations
Have a process to realise that the voice of judgement in your head and the feelings of guilt that may be occurring as you face uncertainty have been learnt over time and can be stopped
Use this process and the lessons learned to help you in dealing with all situations in your life
" It is a startling truth that how you see and what you see
determine how and who you will be.
An interesting way of beginning to do some
interior work is to explore your particular style of seeing.
Ask yourself, What way do I behold the world?
Through this question you will discover your specific pattern of seeing.
To the fearful eye, all is threatening"
John O'Donoghue, Anam Cara
What is the format?
Two conversations over two weeks. Conversations on zoom with cameras on. Session one has time for teaching and discussion. Session two is reflection and review.
During the 1.5 hours there will be teaching, self-reflection exercises and discussion time to reflect on how you currently experience uncertainty, understand how you personalise situations in life and learn ways to become more objective to reality as it is. Home play: Self-reflection exercise will be offered to you.
Conversation 2 :
An open dialogue session to reflect and share what has come up for you and to consider now what for you.
In the group conversation live on zoom, participants will be sharing their perspective and you will be asked to share yours. Given the small numbers on the call we go deep quickly and emotions can often arise. Are you ok with sharing at this level? Open to hearing others perspectives? Open to receiving feedback and being challenged in service of your development by the facilitator? Do you accept that confidentiality applies in a setting like this? Are you OK to have your camera on?
You are ready to look at yourself at a more intimate level
You are open to engage in direct and deep conversation
You are already developing on purpose and this seems aligned with other work you are doing.
You are facing uncertainty and want to gain clarity on how to deal with it
